How to use Comfortland Foot Splint?

How to resize Comfortland Splint?

1. Place your foot in the splint, making sure that posterior strut of the splint makes full contact with the rear of the leg
2. Using a marker, trace around toes
3. Using a pair of scissors, cut along the outline of the toes
4. Use sandpaper to smooth the cut edge to prevent irritation

How to wear the Drop Foot Splint?

1. Loosen the top cuff strap and place your foot inside the splint, making sure that the posterior strut makes full contact with the back of the leg
2. Wrap the cuff closure strap around the leg and secure to itself using the Velcro provided
   - The cuff strap should fit snug for maximum energy return
3. Place your foot with the attached splint inside of your shoe as normal

How to clean the Splint?

• The foot drop splint can be wiped clean using a cloth with mild detergent.
• Air dry
• Do not attempt to iron or machine dry any portion of the splint
