Patient Restraint Devices

Patient Restraints limit a patient's movement and can help keep a person from getting hurt doing harm to others, including their caregivers. Various types of restraints includes belt , vest jackets and mitts for the patient's hands, devices that prevent people from being able to move their elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles. Seating Restraints and Positioning Restraints are designed to ultimately keep the patient in place and to reduce risk of injury. Patient Protection Restraints used to keep a person in proper position and prevent movement or falling during surgery or while on a stretcher.
