Economy Dressing Stick is designed for people that have limited or no mobility in one of their arms. One end of the Economy Dressing Stick has a small hook that is ideal for picking up and pulling on lower body garments. The other has a larger hook and pusher that can be used to position clothes without risking damage. A long wooden stem makes it lightweight and effective.
Dressing stick can be used for putting on or taking off your shoes, socks, slacks and shirt.
This device is used for removing your socks. Simply hook the end of the dressing stick onto your sock and push it off of your feet.
To remove your slacks use the end of the stick to help thread each leg into the slacks. Use the hook to draw the slacks up until you are able to reach them with your own hands. Stand up and pull up the rest of the way. To remove your slacks push them down from around your waist and sit down. Once in a seated position use the stick to push your slacks off of your legs.
The dressing stick can also assist in putting on and removing a button-up shirt or coat. Thread the dressing stick into a sleeve of your shirt then pull up and over your shoulder. Repeat the same to the other side. you can apply this method to coats or jackets as well. if you have trouble zipping up you can use the hook end of the dressing stick to assist with pulling up the zipper. To remove your shirt or coat slide the dressings stick into your sleeve and push off your arm until it is completely removed.
