• Intended Use:
  - Constructed of a washable, smooth, openweave compression cover and a foam support, this finger splint accommodates either a dynamic extension strut or a static malleable position strut.
  - When used for dynamic extension, the finger splint may be placed dorsally or volarly.
  - When used for static positioning, finger splint is placed volarly
• Directions for use:
  - Prior to fitting, select correct size
  - Choose either dynamic strut or static strut
  - If swelling is the only consideration, no strut may be desired
  - Determine where foam support is to be placed
  - If patient will be flexing against the finger splint frequently, dorsal placement seems best
  - For steady dynamic pressure into extension, volar placement seems best, when used with malleable static strut, volar placements seem best
