Note: The Hinged Swedish Knee Cage should be fit on a seated patient with the knee bent at 90°.

Unfasten one side of the straps at the snaps.
Slide off the uprights.
Patient sits with the knee bent.
Put the brace from the back, centering the pad to the knee.
Modify the brace side-to-side for comfort.
Bring straps to the front of the leg.
Reattach them to the uprights, with the elastic part against the leg.
