More Information

  • Application of Thermoskin ROM Hinged Elbow
    - Step 1:     The Range of Motion hinge is set at 0°. If the ROM setting needs to be adjusted, remove hinge from pocket while taking care not to drop the small locking pin from the center of the hinge. Move the small pin to the hole showing the desired setting.
    - Step 2: Insert ROM hinge back into hinge pocket while taking care not to drop the small locking pin from the center of the hinge. Repeat for both sides.
    - Step 3: Once hinges are positioned in brace, tighten brace with wide support straps to ensure a snug fit.
    - Step 4: Adjust the X-Cross straps as needed to help limit hyperextension.
  • Application of Thermoskin Hinged Elbow:
    - Position the product so that the hinges are on either side of the elbow.
    - Adjust X-Cross velcro to appropriate tightness to prevent hyperextension.
  • Warning:
    If an irritation or rash develops, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice
