How to install Pressure Sensitive Floor Mat and Alarm

• Install 9 Volt Battery (included)
• Plug cord from floor mat into side of alarm box
• Turn on alarm box by fully depressing button on silicone jacket. LED will glow blue to indicate power is ON
• Test floor mat. Alarm should sound when pressure is applied to mat and automatically silence when pressure is removed
• Test Fail-safe circuit. With alarm box ON, remove cord and alarm should sound

• Observe where patient’s feet normally meet the floor when rising from bed
• This is usually mid-way between top and bottom of mattress
• Position center of floor mat at the determined location

• It’s possible that the mat may occasionally shift out of position. It may be beneficial to mark the floor to indicate where the corners of the mat should be located

• We recommend the use of a mild bleach-free household cleaner on a soft cloth
