Rolyan Stax Finger Splints are primarily used in treating extensor tendon disruption at the insertion point on the distal phalanx. These clear plastic splints support the distal joint in extension while permitting unrestricted movement of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint. Strap on the middle phalanx with a small adhesive strip or Stax Straps to elevate the distal joint to its proper extended position. They can be used as protection for fingertip injuries.
