Operating the Unit
Important
- To use the EKG feature you must download the free OMRON connect app to your smartphone. Once your first EKG recording is taken, you will automatically receive a free medical interpretation within 24 hours, which is provided by a U.S. board certified cardiologist.
Install Batteries
- Push down the hole of the battery cover with a thin object and pull the hook upward
- Insert 4'AA" alkaline batteries
- Close the battery cover securely
Download the App
- Download and install the "Omron connect US/CAN" app on your smartphone pair your smartphone
- Enable 'Bluetooth" on your smartphone open the app and follow the instructions
Apply the Arm Cuff
- Plug the arm cuff into your monitor by inserting the air plug into the air jack securely until it clicks
- Place your hand through the cuff loops, then pull the cuff until it reaches your upper left arm
- Wrap the cuff securely
Sit Correctly
- Place the arm cuff at the same level as your heart
- Place your monitor close enough to touch with bent elbows Back and both arm should be supported
- Arms should be resting on the table Keep feet flat, legs uncrossed Start blood pressure measurement + EKG recording
- Open the app on your smartphone
- Tap record your (first)EKG and follow the instructions Place your smartphone on your monitor
- Press the BP{START/STOP} button
- AS soon as pressing the BP {START/STOP} button, put your thumbs on top electrodes and 2 or more fingers each of the side of electrodes
- Remain still and do not talk until the arm cuff deflates and a 30 second countdown on your smartphone completes
Check your blood pressure readings and EKG recordings
- After blood pressure measurement and EKG recordings, your blood pressure reading is displayed on the monitor
- Press the BP{START/STOP} button to turn the monitor off
- An EKG instant analysis appears on the left side on your smartphone screen and your blood pressure readings appear on the right side
Warranty
- Blood Pressure Monitor + EKG, excluding the arm cuff and batteries, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within five years from the date of purchase
- The arm cuff is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within 1 year from the date of purchase
