• Dosage and Administration:
  - Use only under the direction of a physician or dietitian
  - Lophlex must be consumed in conjunction with natural protein, fluid and other nutrients in quantities prescribed by a physician or dietitian to meet phenylalanine and general nutrition requirements
  - Fat, carbohydrate and low protein sources may be used to supply needed calories and to fulfill essential fatty acid requirements
  - Intake of Lophlex will vary depending on the age, body weight and medical condition of the individual
  - Intake is adjusted to maintain normal growth and development
  - Lophlex should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day
• Mixing Instructrions:
  - Mix the contents of one sachet with a small amount of water to make a paste.
  - Continue stirring while adding water to make up a final volume of approximately 70 mL (2.5 fl oz). This would be a 1 in 5 dilution.
  - Lophlex may be taken in a more concentrated form either as a drink or paste. If so, water or diluted drinks should be offered at the same time.
  - Lophlex is best prepared with chilled water and consumed immediately after preparation.
• Precaution:
  - Must only be used under strict medical supervision.
  - Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.
  - Not suitable for infants under one year of age.
  - Not for parenteral use.
• Storage:
  - Store at room temperature away from sunlight.
