• Contraindications:
  - Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD)
  - Lymphatic drainage disorders and indistinct soft tissue swellings remote from the applied aid
  - Sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the affected body part
  - Skin disorders in the treated part of the body
• Directions for Use:
  - Prior to putting on the support please adjust the extension- and flexion limitations at the medial and lateral gear segment hinge
  - On delivery extension is adjusted to 0°, flexion is not limited. A different extension stop may be mounted by losing the assembly screw, the limit wedge, inserted by the company, to be removed, the desired limitation wedge inserted and fastened with the assembly screw
  - In the same way, the flexion wedge can be handled
  - Before putting on, open Velcro straps and support. Put on the support in a way that the patella recess is placed directly around the patella
  - Subsequently, close the support frontal at thigh and shank. Finally tighten both Velcro closures in such a way that the support supports and compresses, but does not indent
