More Information

  • Built:
    - It is constructed from a soft outer cover consisting of ame retardant and bioactive bers. The inner compartments are lled with air tubes that never need to be re-lled or maintained because of their extreme air tightness. The air tubes are positioned to o load the heel completely. In order to protect the heel in a patient there is a separate compartment covering the heel itself that will allow for pressure distribution and protection against shear and friction.
    Warning:
    - Avoid sharp objects penetrating the air tubes.
    - Check the air pressure of the air tubes in the HEELPROTECTOR on a regular basis. If loss of air is suspected, discontinue use immediately
  • Cleaning:
    - It can be washed at low temperatures in the washing machine. Do not tumble dry. Use after complete drying.
    Warning:
    -     Make sure you never over tighten the straps because this may result in discomfort and/or strangulation of the blood flow with subsequent tissue damage.
    - Do not use with patients with extensive unredressable footdrop
    - The MaxXcare HEELPROTECTOR is for single user application.
