How to Use Healthline PVC Standard Shower Commode Chair

Step 1

• Remove the partially assembled shower chair from the shipping
• container/box.

Step 2

• Insert the 4 casters into the opening of the fittings. Secure the casters
• by inserting and tightening ½" screws into the pre-drilled pilot holes
• on the fittings with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3

• Insert the PVC back with mesh sling into the opening of the fittings.
• Secure the back with ½" screws.

NOTE: Casters and PVC mesh back must be checked and secured prior to using the shower chair.

How to Care Shower Commode Chair

PVC Piping and Casters:

• Wipe PVC pipes with a gentle cleanser (not harsh chemicals).
• Use Johnson's Pledge or similar spray wax to bring back shine.
• If casters get wet, keep them lubricated with white lithium paste.
• Regularly remove hair and mop-thread buildup.

Mesh Fabric (Sling):

• If needed, wash the fabric in a big machine with cold water and regular detergent.
• Add one cup of bleach, but avoid softeners or strong chemicals.
• Only spin-dry; machine heat can shrink the fabric.
• Hang the damp fabric on the frame to air dry and regain its shape.

Footrest:

• Use a soft brush and soapy solution to clean the soap build-up on the footrest's sliding surface.
• Apply furniture spray wax to keep it moving smoothly.

Soft Seat:

• Wipe the soft seat with a gentle disinfectant wash.
• Be careful to avoid sharp or rough surfaces.

Important Caution:

• Do not use the chair if the casters are rusty or don't move easily.
• Also, avoid using it if there are cracks in the fittings.
