How to Use Grafco Hair Shampooer?

• Pull clamp off nozzle (if necessary for inflation) and inflate Hair Shampooer until ring is firm. 
• Close clamp on nozzle so that air does not escape. 
• Position the patient so that their head is close to the side of the bed where you will be working. 
• Slide pillow down so that it is under the patients shoulders and neck, not under patients head. 
• Place Hair Shampooer under patients head. 
• Ensure drainage hose is hanging into collection bucket on floor, and that hose is clear and open to allow free flow of water into the bucket. 
• Using a pitcher to wet hair, proceed with shampoo. The water in the Hair Shampooer will pool and drain off through the hose into the bucket. 
• Rinse well to prevent soap build-up. 
• Wipe Hair Shampooer as dry as possible with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it inflated for several hours to allow complete drying before storage. 
• When dry, deflate the Hair Shampooer by pulling the clamp off the nozzle. When the Hair Shampooer is completely deflated, fold and store it away from direct sunlight and heat.
