- Choose sensor site by age:
- a. Age 7 and older: Use back of upper hand
- b. Age 2 years to 6 years: Use back of upper arm or upper buttocks.
- Clean and dry site with an alcohol wipe so sensor stays on.
- Unscrew cap, relax your muscles and use applicator to insert sensor.
- Remove and save the applicator because you’ll need its pairing code.
- To keep the patch on your skin, rub and press around the patch for 10 min.
- You must apply the overpatch to keep the sensor stuck firmly on your body.
