Comfortland Suspension Sleeve is a light weight, cotton or lycra sleeve that is designed to be worn in conjucton with comfortland hinged knee brace to prevent brace migration and reduce skin irritation from long periods of wear. It is made of soft breathable material with neoprene lining, promoting air flow and helping to keep patients comfortable.

  • Caution:
    - It is not recommended for patients to attempt to apply or adjust this device unless otherwise instructed to do so by an orthopedic professional

  • Preparation:
    - This sleeve is a universally sized item, and requires no trimming before wear
  • Application:
    - To prevent brace migration:
    Once the knee brace is properly fitted and adjusted, wrap the suspension sleeve over the brace, using the thumb loops on the sleeve to achieve the appropriate tension. Secure the sleeve to itself via the velcro provided. (Figure A)
    - To prevent skin irritation / add soft tissue compression:
    Wrap the suspension sleeve around the desired area before knee brace is applied, and secure the sleeve to itself via the velcro provided. To be used in this manner, the suspension sleeve is most commonly applied to the thigh (Figure B), the top of the calf (Figure C), or directly over the knee itself (Figure D). Once the suspension sleeve is properly secured, apply the knee brace over the sleeve as usual
  • Cleaning Instructions:
    - Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent
    - Air dry
    - Do not dry clean, iron or bleach any part of this item as i could cause damage and void the manufacturers warranty
