Our Breg DUO Knee Brace is special because it's the only one with two uprights that work together to help with osteoarthritis. It puts less pressure on the knee when it's bent and more when it's straight. This means it helps take some weight off the knee when you're standing and eases up when you're sitting. It's great for people who need a brace for everyday things.

Why Choose Breg DUO Knee Brace

  • A small frame that sits close to your body
  • The hinge that moves as you do
  • Small changes can be made to fit your arm better
  • Can adjust up to 16 degrees to help fix an issue
  • Special straps to keep it in place and not slide around

Adjusting the DUO Brace:

  • Put the adjustable part on the side of the knee that hurts.
  • Use the attached tool to loosen the screws on that side.
  • Make the adjustable part longer to unload the hurting side.

How DUO Knee Brace Helps:

  • When you straighten your knee, the brace makes the hurting side longer and the other side shorter.
  • This makes more force to take the pressure off the hurting side and ease the pain.
  • When you bend your knee and there's no pain, it does the opposite, giving you more comfort.
  • DUO is designed to be comfortable and ease pain at the same time.

How to Use Breg DUO Knee Brace

1. Release all four straps on the back side of the brace by squeezing the gray levers on either side of the buckle and withdrawing the over-center buckle. Loosen the front straps.

2. With the knee bent at 45°, lay the brace on the leg and align the hinge as shown above (A). Position the center of the hinge on an imaginary line that goes across the top of the kneecap. Push the hinges posteriorly until the hinges are in the center of the knee joint when viewed from the side.

3. Wrap the upper rear calf strap around the calf as high as possible over the calf muscle. Insert the over-center buckle into the base. Push the buckle until you hear the gray levers click on both sides (B). Adjust the strap by releasing the hook and loop tab and pulling the strap until a snug and comfortable fit is achieved (C).

4. Insert the over-center buckle into the base on the lower calf shell of the brace. Push the buckle in until you hear the gray levers click on both sides. Adjust the strap until a comfortable fit is achieved. (If the strap tab reaches its limit without achieving the desired fit, see strap length adjustment in Figure (F)).

5. Following the same instructions as in Steps 3 and 4, fasten the lower and then upper rear thigh strap.

6. Tighten the front tibia strap (D). If the strap overlaps too far, see strap length adjustment in Figure (F). Center the strap pad.

7. Tighten thigh strap (E), avoiding over-tightening. Walk to assess comfort; ensure straps don't restrict circulation. Re-adjust if needed. First-time users may take a few hours to adapt. For strap length (F): release, adjust using the hook and loop fastener, and center the strap pad.

8. Start with the DUO brace set at 4. Wear it, walk around, and adjust if needed. Use the "b" tool to loosen the top and bottom screws (G1). To decrease load, slide the arm down; for more load, slide it up (G2). Tighten screws with the tool, reapply the brace, and reassess comfort while walking.
