Breg Achilles Wedges are designed to comfortably place the foot in plantar flexion to offload the Achilles tendon during rehab. The Achilles Wedges provide customized height adjustments and are available for all walkers except ROM walkers and the Vectra Lite (unless a heel clip is used). The Achilles Wedge set contains four interlocking wedges that maintain an angle of plantar flexion at 5, 10, 15 or 20 degrees, a comfort pad, and extension straps.

Remove Walker liner and malleoli pads, keep the straps open.
Only use Achilles Wedges in closed heel walking boots. If the walking boot contains a removable heel clip, make sure the heel clip is inserted inside the heel of the walking boot
Insert and position the Achilles wedges towards the heel of the walking boot
Properly installed wedges. Extension straps can be added if the standard straps are too short.
