Ascend Laboratories Thermazene Silver Sulfadiazine 1% Cream is used to treat the symptoms of burn wound infections. Silvadene may be used alone or with other medications. Thermazene (Silver Sulfadiazine) Cream, 1%, is a topical antimicrobial drug indicated as an adjunct for preventing and treating wound sepsis in patients with second and third-degree burns. Each gram of Thermazene cream contains 10mg of micronized silver sulfadiazine.
