Walker has an adjustable ankle motion which ranges from fixed to 45. The continuous arching rocker design provide a smooth energy conserving gait. This Orthopedic Walking Boot is used for soft tissue injuries, grade 2 and 3 sprains, stable fractures and post-operative stabilization.

How to use Walker Boot?

  • Place the foot and leg inside the liner making sure the heel is firmly back against the liner
  • If extra space is feeled, pads may be inserted at either side of the ankle or at the heel
  • Close the liner and tightly secure the hook and loop closures from left to right
  • Make sure that the larger tongue pad is positioned over the top of the foot
  • Position the heel against the rocker boot
  • Brace uprights should be positioned midline over the ankle
  • If the upright falls on top of the overlap, the liner should be opened to allow the upright to lie underneath permitting removal of the brace without disturbing the position of the upright
  • Slide the sleeves from the uprights and press the uprights firmly against the line
  • Fasten closure straps around uprights and liner by alternating the direction of the top three straps to secure properly
  • The ROM joint can be fixed in any position between 45 degree
  • For perfect position, pull out pins and place them in the pinhole that corresponds with the desired position
  • If the motion is being locked out on the joint, hex screw must be tightened down with the provided hex key
