• Applying Your Attachable Form
  - For best results, thoroughly cleanse and dry your chest wall area before applying your attachable form. Your chest wall area should be free from moisturizing lotions, creams, powders and perfumes. Oil residue compromises the effectiveness of the adhesive back. For easy application, stand in front of a mirror and don your bra halfway with the bra cups in front of you. Place your attachable form, keeping the CareCloth on the adhesive back, inside the bra cup, but not inside the bra pocket. Correctly align your attachable form in the bra cup before removing the CareCloth from the adhesive back. Oncethe CareCloth is removed, avoid touching the adhesive back. With your attachable form in the bra cup, lift the bra cup and press the form against your chest wall. While holding your attachable form steady with one hand, use the opposite hand to gently press the remaining edges of the attachable form. If the form needs to be repositioned, gently remove your attachable form from the bottom edge and re-attach as previously instructed. Avoid puncturing your attachable form with finger nails, jewelry or sharp objects
• Removing Your Attachable Form
  - Maintain minimal contact with the adhesive back when removing the attachable form from your chest wall. Start from the bottom edge of your attachable form for easy detachment. Avoid puncturing your attachable form with finger nails, jewelry or sharp objects
• Cleaning Your Attachable Form
  - For a long lasting and consistent attach strength of your ABC Attach breast form, we recommend you use the ABC Form Clean cleanser after each time the breast form is worn. Apply a small amount of ABC Form Clean or a comparable mild cleanser to the back of the attachableform. Using your fingers, gently rub the ABC Form Clean cleanser in small circles over the entire adhesive surface for 2-3 minutes. Thoroughly remove the cleanser with lukewarm water. Lastly, place your attachable form in a storage case with the adhesive side up to allow the form to air dry. Do not towel dry your attachable form (to avoid fuzz from sticking to the attachable surface). After prolonged wear, sweat residue and skin particles may collect on the adhesive surface. When this occurs, a more intense cleaning is suggested. In addition to the ABC Form Clean or a comparable mild cleanser, it is recommended you use a soft bristled brush when cleaning. The use of a soft bristled brush should be limited to once a week
• CareCloth Application and Maintenance
  - When placing the CareCloth on the back of your attachable form, apply the clear plastic side directly to the adhesive. When necessary, hand wash your CareCloths with a mild soap and rinse with lukewarm water. Allow them to air dry
• Indications for breast prostheses
  - After a mastectomy, after the operation wound/scar is healed and after radiation therapy is completed, prosthesis style and size are fit to anatomical features. ABC breast prostheses are for external use only. Chlorinated or salt water will not damage your ABC breast form
