More Information

  • Instructions:
    - Non-Locking Belt:
To use the non-locking belt, lay the restraint over the portion of the body which is to be restrained. If you are using as a chest restraint, lay the restraint over the chest but under the arms. If you are using as a sixth point restraint, lay the restraint above or below the knees. Loop the tail of each leather strap under and around bed frame. Feed the tail through the roller buckle, positioning the tongue of the roller buckle in the appropriate size adjustment for both sides.
    - Locking Belt: To use the locking, position the restraint as in non-locking belt. Loop the tail of each leather strap under and around bed frame. Feed the tail into the lock. Continue by using locking instructions on the back of this page.
    - Note: Do not use for prolonged periods of time.
  • Material used:
    -
Two-ply cotton webbing, welded steel keepers, 12/13oz leather, 1-1 ⁄4" wide roller buckles or lock buckles.
    Cleaning and maintaining:
    -
For regular cleaning, wipe the leather with a mild soap and warm water. The webbing can be scrubbed with a soft brush and the same solution. When decontaminating bloodborne pathogens, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse. After wiping the leather, allow it to air dry and apply neats-foot oil.
    Storage:
    - Store in a dry area to prevent mildew.
