Contraindication:

• Not for use with severe edema
• Not for people who have an allergic reaction to neoprene or who have a tendency to develop dermatitis
• Not for use over open wounds and infected areas
• May not be for people with circulatory problems
   

Precautions:

• The brace should fit snugly and comfortably without interfering with circulation
• If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted
   

Care and Cleaning:

• Fasten closures
• Hand wash fabric in cold water and mild soap
• Rinse thoroughly
• Allow to air dry at room temperature
• Be sure brace is completely dry before replacing hinges and reapplying brace
• Do not use ointments or oils under the brace
• Do not dry clean or expose to heat or sunlight for extended periods of time
   

Instructions For Use:

• With wider end up and straps open, pull support into position over knee.
• Center cut-out area over patella and center stays along joint line.
• Starting with lower strap, feed straps through D-rings and secure them.
• Buttress can be repositioned to provide appropriate support. It can also be trimmed.
