Liberty CMC Leatherette Thumb Orthosis helps stabilize thumb MP and CMC joints without restricting the wrist and fingers. The thumbs metacarpal joint is fully supported and the wrists carpometacarpal joints are partially supported. The Leatherette model is cotton-lined and perforated for breathability and offers firm support via stiff fabric and a steel reinforcing bar.

How to use Liberty CMC Leather Thumb Brace?

Place hand over splint as shown (Figure A).
Fit splint to the thumb, securing hook and loop closure around thumb (Figure B).
Thread the wrist strap through the slot (Figure C).
Pull the strap back over the wrist and secure with hook tab. The straps may be trimmed as needed (Figure D).

Leather: Clean with a leather cleaner or wash with a mild soap in water. Air dry.
Firm Leatherette: Machine wash and air dry; secure hook and loop prior to washing.
