  • Positioning Transfer Sling Around the Patient:
    1. Position the transfer sling behind the patient. Make sure the bottom edge of the sling is at the base of the spine.
    2. Lift up one of the patient legs and position the thigh support under the leg.
    3. Repeat Step 2 for the opposite thigh support.
    4. Pull the thigh support of the sling under each thigh of the patient until the thigh supports reach completely around the thighs of the patient.
    5. Attach the transport/transfer sling to the stand up lift.
