HealthCraft Dependa Grab Bar offers an unparalleled range of bathtub and shower support. Along with providing traditional grab bar support, the Dependa-Bar features pivot and lock technology allowing for 5 different positions (one every 45 degrees). The Dependa-Bar is intended for moderate vertical and horizontal load bearing to provide sitting and standing support for people with reduced mobility. The locking mechanism for the horizontal bar in welded to a horizontal grab bar, a castellated collar with 8 grooves (every 45 degrees) to provide a mechanism strong enough to support the user.

Installation Instructions Of Dependa Bar

  • Determine locking positions of pivot rail, and fasten lower grab bar to wall in corresponding location.
  • Fasten the top flange to wall.
  • Slide pivot rail into top flange and rest into locking teeth on lower grab bar.
  • Install lift limit and secure with hex key.
  • Install vinyl cap to cover exposed locking teeth.
