Fitting Tips for Breg Lateral Knee Brace
To achieve best possible fit of the brace straps, be sure that the strap pads on the inside of each strap are centered on each strap and provide a comfortable contact point between the skin and the strap.
Strap Length Adjustment - If a strap is too long or too short (preventing the numbered strap tab from properly adhering to the strap), first, remove the strap pad and unfasten the strap tab. Then, unfasten the "tail end" of the strap ends and replace the strap pads.
If there is no diagnosed or apparent instability associated with the uni-compartmental knee OA simplify the strap application for the Fusion braces by fastening all straps behind the knee first (1,2,3, and 5) and then apply straps 4 and 6 in front of the knee.
