What are the Benefits of using Winco Inverness Premium Recliner ?

Head RestComes standard with one HC24 Head Rest Cover

TT Side Table Option
Unique side table design for the Winco 6240 Inverness 24 Hour Treatment Recliner. Available individually. Specify left, right or both.

HM - Heat and Massage Option
Winco has designed a Heat and Massage option for their entire clinical chair line. With this Winco Heat and Massage Option, two separate pads gently warm the seat and back of all of these chairs, creating a more comfortable environment for your patient. One of the more common complaints among patients in dialysis clinics is that they can’t seem to get warm, or if they do manage to get warm, they don’t stay that way for long.

AIRX Arm Rest Covers
Beautiful, contoured armrest covers add protection and security to the Inverness and Augustine. These form fitting designs are specific to the options on the individual chairs like the side tables, pivot tables, and heat only or heat and massage options. Generous arm coverage is assured with tailored cutouts for the EZ-Pull handles.

SilverTex Color Option
SilverTex is not recommend for applications involving frequent contact with bodily fluids where bleach is the preferred or required cleaner. Bleach is not advised for cleaning SilverTex

Flammability Compliant Materials Option (CAL 133 - TB 133)
Products manufactured with this option meet the requirements for California Technical Bulletin 133 Flammability Test Procedure for Seating Furniture for Use in Public Occupancies as outlined at the document published by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation.

Designed With Patients - Patient independence, with no need to rely on staff for assistance is now a reality. We listened to patients and included:

  • An infinitely adjustable backrest that locks in the chosen position
  • Our innovative design requiring 50% less pull force for one-handed positioning.
  • Patient comfort in every position; full upright to laying flat
  • Wide seats, padded, naturally curved armrests, accessible controls, and strategically located lumbar support.

During development surveys, many patients noted that they would choose clinics with this chair, bypassing those without.

Designed With Clinicans - We also listened to the clinician and designed

  • Higher patient positioning with side tables at an ideal level to reduce potential for back strain.
  • Bilateral controls that are easily accessed from either side.
  • Foot operated swing-arm latch releases, unique foot plate lock and Trendelenburg controls to reduce bending, stooping and straining.
  • Gas cylinder and spring supported mechanism to significantly ease any required effort to help patient recline or sit upright.

We’ve strived to address everything, including never hidden, always accessible, front caster locks.

Designed With The Facility - The Inverness 24-Hour Treatment Recliner’s form and function make it a practical and valuable tool, easily expanding nocturnal capacity to existing clinics.

  • Both arms swing out 180 degrees for barrier free patient transfer
  • Innovative safety shields direct errant fluids and make cleaning a snap.
  • Generous seat width and 500 pound weight capacity eliminate the need for multiple models.
  • Swing arm design allows deployment of Trendelenburg function even when fully open.

We also took into account the unique requirements of older retrofit clinics. With the arms fully open, the Inverness extra large sized chair will easily roll through a 34.5” opening!
