Rolyan Tennis Elbow Non-Elastic Strap helps reduce pain from tendonitis and lateral and medial epicondylitis. The durable foam non-elastic strap changes forces direction to bypass the injured portion of the muscle. Bead pad conforms to the forearm and attached with hook and loop material for variable positioning.

Contraindications:


  • May not be for people with circulatory problems
  • Not for children who may be experiencing growth plate problems or people with elbow instability
     

Precautions:



  • If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted.
  • The strap should fit snugly and comfortably without interfering with circulation.
  • Wearing the strap while sleeping is not recommended because elbow positioning may cause restriction of blood flow
     

Care and Cleaning:



  • Remove the pellet pouch from the strap and remove the vinyl bag from the fabric pouch.
  • When fully dry, replace the vinyl bag in the fabric pouch and attach it to the strap as described in instruction
  • Strap and pouch
    - Hand wash in warm water and mild soap.
    - Rinse thoroughly. Do not wring. Dry at room temperature

Instructions for Use:



  • To attach the pouch to the strap:
    - Position the strap with the hook on the Dring facing down¢¬the pouch goes on the strap surface that is facing up.
    - Place the pouch next to the D-ring with the hook surface of the pouch fastened to the strap and the edge with the flap away from the D-ring
  • To apply the strap, with the pouch of pellets toward the inside, put the end of the strap into the D-ring.
  • Extend the arm with the thumb pointing up and a slight bend in the elbow joint.
  • With the pellet pouch against the skin, slide the strap onto the forearm and position the top of the strap 1" to 1-1/2 " (2.5cm to 3.8cm) below the elbow joint.
  • Pull the end of the strap through the D-ring and secure it to the hook tab on the D-ring
  • Fasten the hook end of the strap.
  • Depending on the affected muscles, position the pellet pouch so it covers the extensor muscles or the flexor muscles.
