• Indications:

• Contraindications:
  - Not for immediate treatment following fractures
  - Not for use over open wounds and infected areas
• Precautions:
  - This system is to be fitted initially by a healthcare professional who is familiar with the purpose for which it is prescribed.
  - The healthcare professional is responsible for providing wearing instructions and precautions to other healthcare practitioners, care providers involved in the patients care, and the patient
  - If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted.
  - The gauntlet should be snug, but it should not be so tight that circulation is impaired.
• Care and cleaning:
  - For extended use, soak the fabric for five minutes in a solution of mild detergent and cold water
  - Rinse the detergent out completely
  - Do not wring
  - Allow to air dry thoroughly before reuse.
