  • If after 7 days of fixation or sooner StayFIX Fixation Device becomes loose for any reason, remove the old StayFix fixation device and replace it with a new one
  • Inspect the device daily to ensure that it still holds the implanted device safely
  • Avoid soaking StayFix in water for an extended period
  • Do not touch the device until it is completely dry. If it becomes loose, replace it
  • Contents are sterile.
  • Do not use it if the packaging is opened, damaged, or broken.
  • For single-patient use only.
  • Do not reuse, reprocess, or resterilize, as it may compromise the structural integrity of the device and lead to device failure, which in turn may result in patient injury, illness, or death.  Contamination of the device may lead to the patient's injury, illness, or death.

How to Apply Merit Medical StayFix Catheter Fixation Device? Slide the StayFIX Fixation Device slit around the catheter or tube until the catheter or tube is positioned in the hole against the blue foam. Peel off the paper backing and adhere the StayFIX Fixation Device to the skin.
