How to operate Jellyfish Lamp?

1. Jelly Fish Lamp requires 3 AA batteries. The battery compartment is located under the base of the unit. Carefully turn the unit over, and remove the battery cover. Install new batteries, being careful to observe proper battery polarity. Alkaline batteries must be used only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old, new or different types of batteries together. Replace the battery compartment cover. 
2. Lift off the black cover of the bottle and the rubber stopper at the top of the bottle and fill the bottle with 75% tap or distilled water. 
3. Please Note: The Jelly Fish are extremely delicate. Please Note: Handle very carefully. Carefully and slowly place them into the bottle. 
4. Fill the container the rest of the way with water and replace the rubber stopper and black cover. 
5. Next plug in your external capability switch into the female 1/8" jack, located in the side of the unit. If your switch has a ¼" male plug, then order one of our #1170 ¼" to 1/8" adapters. Make sure the male plug is pressed firmly into the female jack, there should be not gaps. Set the Jelly Ball Lamp’s ON/OFF switch to OFFfor external switch use. You can now activate the Jelly Fish Lamp with your switch.
