Precautions:
- Supervision or assistance should be provided for users who are weak or tend to be unbalanced
- Before each use, ensure that the spring buttons protrude all the way through the appropriate holes so they are locked in place
- Confirm that legs are set securely on the floor, and that the seat is level
- Test for stability before use. Do not exceed the user weight capacity of 500lb
Care:
- On a regular basis or after each use when being utilized as a portable commode, clean the bucket with a disinfectant and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive, scouring pads or solvents including lacquer thinner, turpentine or acetone. An everyday cleaning product or window cleaner can be used on the frame
- Periodically inspect the rubber tips on the legs. If tips are torn or missing, replace them immediately
