Danmar Two Step Head Support with Hensinger is mounted to standard otto bock hardware using a special adapter plate. Postural tone may be reduced by moving the hensinger into slight flexion and encouraging chin tuck, especially when head and neck extension rule.

The Hensinger has substantial adjustments in the vertical and horizontal planes, besides being able to be tilted laterally if desired. By using this design, there is more room to mount trunk support straps too. Head support must only be used after proper trunk support is achieved.
