How Night Splints relieve Plantar Fasciitis Pain?

  • Improving circulation and blood flow while you sleep, which can help break up adhesions and scar tissue
  • Night splints are especially effective when used as part of a day/night treatment method
  • Speed up the healing process by allowing you to treat your heel pain while you sleep
  • Wearing a night splint to keep the foot and arch stretched keeps the plantar fascia ligament from contracting and becoming less flexible (and more vulnerable to pain) in the morning

Cramer DNS Plantar Fasciitis Brace FAQ

How are night splints useful?

Night splints are designed to be worn as you go to bed to provide a gentle but constant stretch in your ankle to avoid stiffness. Night Splints maintain the foot in a position with the toes pointed up, immobilizing your foot and supporting the ankle.

What is the treatment for plantar fascia?

Plantar Fasciitis can be treated with small lifestyle changes. Try stretching, exercising, icing, massaging your feet, and wearing night splints. Orthotic inserts are recommended to support the plantar fascia and allow it to heal and also to prevent the recurrence of the pain once the plantar fascia has healed. In some cases, surgery may be required to heal the problem.

How long does it take for plantar fasciitis to heal?

Plantar fasciitis may take 3 to 12 months to heal completely. Medical treatment, along with an ankle Splint, can help your foot heal faster.
