  • How To Use
    - Install the included batteries into your blood pressure monitor (BPM)
    - Insert the air connector plug into the air socket
    - Download the free A&D Connect app from the App Store or Google playTurn on Bluetooth settings on your mobile device (smartphone or tablet)
    - Install and launch the A&D Connect app. The app will guide you through the account set up and connection process
    - Press and hold the START button until “ Pr” is displayed, then release the button
    - While “Pr ” is shown the BPM is discoverable
    - While “Set ” is shown the BPM is pairing with your mobile device
    - The BPM displays “ Set” to indicate the pairing process is complete
    - The blood pressure monitor is now ready to be used
    - Lay your left arm flat on the table with palm up. Place the cuff on your upper arm
    - Fasten the cuff tight enough so you can slide two fingers underneath it
    - Sit comfortably with your arm resting on a flat surface, elevated to heart level, palm upSit quietly as cuff inflates and deflates
    - Wait for the measurement to complete
    - When the measurement is complete, the cuff deflates automatically
    - Your systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse rate appear on the screen and measurements are sent to your mobile device when the “A&D Connect” app is open and running
    - Results are stored in the BPM when your mobile device is not available
  • Precaution
    - Avoid tightly folding the cuff or storing the hose tightly twisted for long periods, as such treatment may shorten the life of the components
    - The device and cuff are not water resistant. Prevent rain, sweat and water from soiling the device and cuff
    - Measurements may be distorted if the device is used close to televisions, microwave ovens, cellular telephones, X-ray or other devices with strong electrical fields
    - Clean the device and cuff with a dry, soft cloth or a cloth dampened with water and a neutral detergent
    - Never use alcohol, benzene, thinner or other harsh chemicals to clean the device or cuff
    - Do not self-diagnose the measurement results and start treatment by yourself
    - Always consult your doctor for evaluation of the results and treatment
  • Maintenance
    - Do not open the device
    - It uses delicate electrical components and an intricate air unit that could be damaged
