How to apply the Hand Based Splint?

  • Place the splint with the hook material facing up
  • With the volar surface of the hand toward the splint, align the fingers with the four finger web straps and put the thumb through the hole
  • Wrap the two proximal splint portions over the dorsum of the hand and fasten the hook-and loop fastener

Contraindications

  • Not for people who have an allergic reaction to neoprene or who have a tendency to develop dermatitis
  • Not for use over open wounds and infected areas
  • May not be for people with circulatory problems
