  1. Position cuff on the back of the hand, centering proximal interphalangeal joints (PIPs) under the cup, hook and loop pads at the back of the hand, metal loop on the palmar side. Wrap around the wrist. Secure with hook and loop.
  2. To apply the palmar piece, open hook, and loop Dycem wraps position on hand, palm up. Note that the metal loop is positioned by the thumb when on the left hand, and by the little finger when on the right.
  3. Place the handle to be held at the preferred grab point. Noting the grab point remove the palmar piece from the hand and wrap the hook and loop Dycem wraps tightly around the handle.
  4. Return the handle with the palmar piece attached to the palm of the hand. Attach hook and loop strap from palmar piece to hook and loop pad at the back of the cuff. Pass the hook and loop strap through the metal loop on the palmar piece. double back and also fasten to the back of the cuff. Insert the cinching strap through a large metal loop on the wrist Secure at desired tightness.
  5. For occasions when full finger wrap is not necessary, insert an alternate strap through a rectangular metal loop on the planar piece. Attach the hook on the palmar piece. Attach a hook on the strap to loop on the palmar piece. Fold the strap back, and adjust for proper snugness and security.
